Imagine you’re enjoying music on your Sennheiser headphones. But then you want to join an online game. The HD 500 BAM add-on microphone lets you keep the lifelike soundstage and brilliant sound you love — while communicating with perfect clarity in-game and on calls.
Upgrade your voice to match the clarity you get from our headphones:
Meet the HD 500 BAM, the compact add-on microphone that seamlessly transforms your audiophile Sennheiser headphones into an expert-level communication device.
At the end of the adjustable yet sturdy boom arm rests a high-performance 10mm condenser microphone. It’s bigger and higher quality than most standard lavalier mics, not to mention that dinky little device in your laptop. The cardioid directional pattern zeros in on speech and reduces background noise. You’ll love it for gaming, video calls – and keeping your loudmouth cat off the conference call!
Installation? Just plug it in.
This little add-on is designed to work perfectly with the Sennheiser HD 620S and HD 500 series headphones. You simply plug it in and twist to lock.
No tools, adhesive patches, or instruction manuals required. The in-line remote control puts volume and mute at your fingertips. The 3.5mm jack connector ensures plug-and-play compatibility with computers, consoles, and practically any source that accepts headsets or a USB-C adapter dongle. That means most tablets and smartphones will also work via an adapter. A Y-split adapter is included for computer setups.
Don’t settle for less
This is an attractive piece of kit with a stable yet flexible boom arm. It feels right at home on the HD 500 series and HD 620S with high-quality materials to match.
And crucially, you’ll only have one cable, not two! Because who wants cable management on their head? Speaking of keeping things neat and tidy, you also get 2 spare foam mic pop screens.
Unmute your Sennheiser headphones
The best thing about the HD 500 BAM is that it unlocks so much value from your headphones.
By adding this mic to your Sennheiser headphones, you get a high-end gaming headset with zero latency and a soundstage to rival anything on the market. Or an excellent option for work calls. You’ll look great wearing your stylish cans recording podcasts and videos, too. It’s time to stop switching headsets and start enjoying brilliant audiophile sound with everything you do.
